Lucy V.: Hey Amy. I was listening to the news in this week's podcast. The story of the child enrolled in the Catholic school who was asked not to return because of her lesbian parents really made me think. I would like to know how many children attend the school who have divorced parents. If I remember correctly, divorce is also a "sin" within the Catholic church. If their "moral standard" is prohibiting the child from attending, that is completely hypocritical and ridiculous. It makes no sense. They are overlooking one "sin" to enforce another. That's not very Christian, is it?
WCQ356 The Fabulous Tony Winner, Christine Ebersole 2010-03-09

She shares her early beginnings, moving to and working on stage in New York, her new CD, becoming Edie in Grey Gardens and her upcoming show at the Harris Theater in Chicago. Amy and Richard take us to the Oscars! Richard gives us his take on who should win and who WILL win. They both have some opinions on the nominated films and of course, Amy's wife, Helen Mirren was discussed. Why are there 10 Best Picture nominees this year? Will Meryl win or is it Sandy Bullock's year? They also discuss the gayness of the past film season AND Richard shares his thoughts on the two hosts, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. It's going to be a really big shew…

james: wow, miss cleo was right on the dot with her predictions of earthquakes this year! and amy was talking to her about it BEFORE the one that hit Chile! Wow. I really liked how amy asked cleo about the process, or how she is able to determine things, how she feels it or sees it or whatever. it's something i've wondered too.
and is there anyone left who DOESN'T love canada after those olympics?
Deb, our very own Canuck, is back on the Queercast with Amy for our Big O show!
Deb gives us a look at Vancouver, the carrying of the torch and the Canadian's pride with the Olympics in their country. Are the Canucks bringing sexy back to the Winter Olympics? The gals dish on another O, yes, you guessed it, Oprah. Amy and Deb give their take on the latest gossip and sensationalism gracing Oprah's stage. What about Ellen on Idol? Thumbs up or down, send us your comments.
WOW! That GAGA! She keeps pushing it further and further and further and
FURTHER. Go on! I predict at this pace she could totally eclipse Madonna as
the most edgy pop star of all time. She just gets it - or can I say that we
as Gays get her. You go girl! Not that I have any understanding of what she
means by a Bad Romance.
;)
Check out the new video for yourself.
(and to think we gave her her big start at Gay Idol in 2008....jk)

Jeff S: On Lady Gaga...yes, we gave her the shot at WCGI 2008 finale and she was amazing and eclecti at Circuit as she is today on tv and VH1....We,the gay community in Chicago, developed and made sure she would be a hot commodity once her performances back then were completed..Nevertheless,she still shocks us as u see in the opening number at the Grammy's 2010 where she is put into a firing vask and comes out w/ Elton John and herself"scarred but not yet deflated and singing an old EJ hit from the 70's w/ piano at hand and voice w/ her mout."..It was a performance of the ages and it put Lady Gaga in a world of praise from her commonhood of celebs and fellow singers/song writers.I was taken back and I know u all were as well..Take care,Jeff S
You gotta love the Phillippine Prison dance video tribute to Michael Jackson

jeff S: Amy!
Michael J gave us all alot of happiness and sadley enough,he died probably as lonely as u can imagine because only his dr's and closet friends (who actually lived w/ him) stood by him.Of course, he loved his kids Blanket,Prince Michael and Paris..I will miss MJ's great style and care of the world he had because he was original and everyone else had to follow his strides and evolution into the music biz..We are great appreciation I had a chance to listen to his music and follow his career..JS
ps..I once met a cousin of his at Buddy's years ago and wanted to hang out w/ me..He was a minister and told me stories about the Jackson's.
